Important Internet Security Notices:
July 21, 2014 - Scam Alert: Automated Phone Calls
It has come to our attention that customers and non-customers in our service area are receiving automated phone calls mentioning that their SBT debit MasterCard has been "locked". The call then instructs the customer to enter personal financial information.
These calls are NOT from SBT. We will never contact you by phone and ask you for personal financial information.
If you receive one of these calls, hang up. Do NOT enter the requested information.
Contact SBT at (877) 279-1300 or (630) 279-1300 with any questions or concerns.
April 9, 2014 - Heartbleed Security Flaw
Recently, online security experts discovered an internet security flaw, or bug, known as "Heartbleed" which has been reported to affect many high profile sites on the internet. We are confident that SBT's Online and Mobile Banking sites have NOT been affected by the Heartbleed bug.
SBT always recommends that you make it a habit to change your passwords frequently, and that you use different passwords for each website you visit as best practices.
If you have any questions regarding SBT's online and mobile security, please contact us at 630-279-1300 or visit your neighborhood branch.
Thank you for banking with SBT.
